Using the New Holiday Cards For Scrapbooking - You can see why!
I often turn my camera sideways to fit my subject in. In fact, I’m sure I have more photos that run N-S rather than E-W. That’s why I created this layout. I used the free bonus Holiday Card kit from Misty Cato. This will fit 5 large photos, and there’s still plenty of room for journaling over on the left, if I wish to put in a text block. Of course, I can always trade out one of the photo spots and put in a text box there, too. The options are truly endless - that’s not an exaggeration. My photos will layer under the layout (taking the place of those gray boxes) - and how ever many seconds it takes me to arrange them - well that’s how long it will take me to finish this layout. Then I’ll just upload it to my ScrapWOW site and invite my family and friends in to see it.
Speaking of which, have you used the address book feature for your account? Just fill in your address book with the names and email addresses of your family and friends (ScrapWOW will never use them or contact them on their own). Then, go to “My Scrapbooks”. Under each scrapbook it will say “View” “Share” “Edit”. If you choose “Share” - you’ll be given a box where you can choose which people from your address book (or all of them) that you wish to invite in. Hold the “CTRL” button down to select multiple addresses. Then click “Send Announcement” and an email will go out to all of your recipients with a link to your site! It’s a great feature, and it saves you time.
