Here’s A Little Trick
I was playing around with some borders and discovered that when I edit them in the photo editor of my graphics software (check yours out - it works the same in most) that I can take a black and white .jpg border, and alter it by choosing “sepia” or in this case “black vlevet” effect - it created a look of embossing. I then just added the artwork into the frame.
The frame originally looked like this:
Now look at this one:
It’s pretty enough in its own right, but when you send it through your graphics editor, you can create this:

Just add a great photo, and you have the perfect mat.
