ScrapWOW on RAKscraps

By now you probably have heard of ScrapWOW, but maybe you still have some questions about it. Nick Romer is going to be on for a chat at RAKscraps.com on Friday evening. He’ll be talking about his unique photo sharing site, and fielding questions from the online chatroom.

There are so many advantages to having your photos and pictures of your layouts, as well as your digital scrapbooking pages all on line. Just imagine the ability to have all of your family and friends view your work, and your photos at their convenience - any time they want! Your site becomes your own private gallery, and you can even password protect it if you wish. Your ScrapWOW site has no ads, and you don’t sign your family up for those annoying mailing lists just so they can view your photos! I love my friends, and I really want to see their photos - but I can’t stand the SPAM I keep getting from the photo sharing sites they use.

Here’s a look at my ScrapWOW album. These are the projects I’ve made for this blog, and then uploaded them into my ScrapWOW site. You get to choose the background, the colors, the features. You can set it up to receive comments, post news, have polls, etc. There are so many things that make a ScrapWOW account worthwhile - I hope you’ll check it out. If you want to hear more, then please feel free to tune in on Friday night at RAKscraps.com.

I joined and ordered and can see my order, but can’t seem to get anywhere as far as starting my scrap site. Should I have received an e-mail for activation of my account or what am I doing wrong? I’m afraid to order again and be charged twice. Thanks for your help!

    Hi Jan,

I’ll be happy to help. I don’t have an email address for you - Please write me at JessicaW1965(at symbol)yahoo(dot)com - (Sorry for the short hand - I’m trying to avoid spam). I’ll be more than happy to get you up and running, and if it turns out to be a technical thing - don’t worry we have people for that, too! Thanks, I’ll look forward to your email!

Hi, I am a new member and all is fine technically. I was just wondering if there is a list of fellow ScrapWOW members with websites/albums to see what others are doing…
    Thanks,
    Nathalie

    Hi Nathalie,

ScrapWow sites are personal websites for members to upload their layouts, photos, projects, etc and not be a public forum. Our sites are not crawlable by the search engines and privacy is a promise. Plus, our members can password protect any of their albums, as well.

If a fellow member wished to give you her album site name, then you could go see her work, but ScrapWOW was designed to be a family and friends ’safe’ site.

I am the designer for the ScrapWow Blog and my site is open and contains the layouts, projects, etc that I’ve featured on the blog.
