The Green Sneakers Blog - Kreate-A-Lope.com is sponsoring a Blog Challenge - Use Your Scraps Making Cards, and I thought I’d happily put in a card….. but after I started thinking about it - I was really confused!! One of the great advantages to digi scrapping is that you don’t have any “leftover scraps” - and even when I make my altered art projects - I don’t print anything I’m not going to use!! So how would I make a card with “scraps”????
After some help from my friends over on the digi boards - I realized the card had to be made to look like it was from scraps. So I used the papers and elements from “My Sweet Life” by Clara Wallace, and created the card. I went in afterwards and inserted the handwriting (it was actually accomplished using the Wacom tablet).
We’ve moved quite a few times, and sometimes friends have moved away from us - this is the perfect card for my daughter to send to her friend who now lives in Texas!
