Getting Started at ScrapWOW

Did you get your welcome email from ScrapWOW?  Did it say this:

 1. login

2. click on Site Manager in the top purple navigation bar.

3. the next screen is where to start - use the buttons on the left

4. for more details, once you’re logged in, click on ‘help center,’ then click on ‘getting started’ and there will be longer explanations and pictures

 If you’re checking over here for more information - let me take a moment and guide you through it.  I’ve written a set of consecutive posts (ScrapWOW - ScrapWOW4) - that journaled my progress through setting up some new albums.

Login - is the email address you used when you signed up, and your password is the one you chose and typed in when you joined.

The navigation menu is at the top of the screen, and the “site manager” page has all the links for setting up your new site, and downloading all of your great freebies!

First time set up of your website?  Choose:  My Website, and change the text to read what you want it to say.  You get to choose a beautiful backdrop, and how you want it to look.

Once your website is named and saved - you can go to “My Scrapbooks” and once there, you’ll see “Create a New Scrapbook” in the upper right.  Here you can choose a template (backdrop) for your photos/layouts, and then you’ll name your scrapbook, choose whether to password protect it or not, and upload your photos (or photos/scans of your scrapbook layouts).  Your scrapbook is complete and ready for viewing!

You can edit it, add photos, delete photos, and invite others to come view it at any time.

Oh, and all of those wonderful freebies??  Go back to “Site Manager” - and click on the WOW!! at the bottom of the navigation bar.  Just start downloading - it’s great stuff!
