Free Digital Scrapbooking - The Six New Kits
Using a similar layout to the one I posted yesterday - this one is more formal. The pink and gold would be perfect for a heritage photo, or that nice photo of my grandmother going to church. I love multi-layered mats. And by fading the top layer - it helps blend the edges to the bottom layer.
Again, if you haven’t downloaded your new free kits - you’ll want to check them out! They are wonderful! If you would like these new kits - they’re ready for all members.

This beautiful kit is called “OSpringy” by Amy Teets - and it is lovely. The papers allow for both formal and whimsical layouts! I know I’ll be using this kit more often!
Free Digital Scrapbooking Kits with Your Membership
Oh my goodness, where does the time go? I just noticed that I haven’t been uploading my layouts to this blog! Well, there have been so many new kits that I’ve been home scrapping! This is from the beautiful kit called “Eclectic” by Kelly Shults. It’s wonderful, and I just adore the colors. Some kits just scream “digi crafts” to me - and this is one of them. I’d love to use this paper for altering a small jewelry box!
See what I mean? Look at these papers!

Well, the good news is that I now have created a lot more layouts - I just need to share them here on the blog!
Digital Scrapbooking With ScrapWow’s New Free Kits
Did you see the news? ScrapWow members now have 6 new free kits! These kits are located under the WOW logo in the main menu (after you log in, click on Site Manager). These are beautiful kits! Of course, I’ve been using the original six for a long time - and I know I will continue to use them, but I am so happy to have these new kits as well.
This next series of ScrapNow Layouts I’ll be creating are from these new kits. The kit “Change of Season” by Amy Teets was used to create the layout featured above. In this 3 photo layout, there’s plenty of room for the large photo and the 2 smaller ones to tell the story - but, just in case you wish to add some journaling - there’s room enough for a journaling block, as well.
I’d best get busy making more - there are so many wonderful kits. By the way - did you see the Free Monthly Kit for May? That’s under the Free Monthly Kit selection from the main menu - and while you’re there - when you scan down a bit - there’s a wonderful special treat - a beautiful Mother’s Day Kit from Designs By Shelle. These are all free for members - so go ahead and sign in - and download!
Digital Scrapbooking - Making ScrapNow Layouts
Another ScrapNow Layout created using one of the beautiful kits from the Super Sale! This one was created from the kit: Crisp Spring Morning by Michelle Underwood. I can see using this layout for Mother’s Day - or even for my daughter’s birthday! The sun burst shaped title block lets the audience know that the subject of the layout (in the photos to come) is well-loved and considered ’sunshine’ to the creator of the page.
There are many ’subliminal’ artistic additions you can make to a layout that install extra meaning, an extra nuance, if you will. The journaling can finish the sentimental value, by putting into words that which has been implied by the art.
